Hubert Y Pan, M.D., M.S.

Dr. Hubert Pan is a radiation oncologist at Sutter Medical Center in Sacramento, California, where he has practiced since 2018. He also serves on the Radiation Oncology Executive Leadership Team for Sutter Medical Group and is a Clinician Team Lead within the department. In addition, he contributes to organizational strategy as a member of the Sutter Medical Group Compensation Committee.

Dr. Pan completed his residency in radiation oncology at MD Anderson Cancer Center, following an internal medicine internship at UT Medical School in Houston. He earned his Doctor of Medicine from the University of California, San Diego, and holds both a Master of Science in Management Science and Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Stanford University.

Before pursuing a career in medicine, Dr. Pan worked in the technology industry as a product manager at Google, contributing to Google Maps and AdWords, and as a software engineer at IBM Almaden Research Center. His diverse background informs his interest in improving clinical workflows and integrating technology into patient care.

Dr. Pan is an accomplished researcher with numerous peer-reviewed publications focused on radiation therapy, cancer outcomes, healthcare utilization, and clinical informatics. His work has been recognized with multiple awards, including designation as a Top Doctor in Sacramento and honors for research and clinical excellence.
