Huy V Nguyen, M.D.

Dr. Huy Nguyen is a board-certified hematologist and medical oncologist currently practicing at Palo Alto Medical Foundation in Sunnyvale, California. He has extensive clinical experience in the diagnosis and treatment of hematologic disorders and malignancies, with prior practice at Kaiser Permanente in Honolulu, Hawaii. Dr. Nguyen completed his Hematology/Oncology fellowship at UCSF Medical Center following an Internal Medicine residency at UC San Diego. He earned his M.D. from the University of Washington and a bachelor’s degree with honors in Chemistry from Stanford University.
His research background includes translational clinical studies in proteomic biomarker discovery in lymphoma and multiple myeloma, as well as earlier work in neuroscience and molecular biology through programs at UCSF and the National Institutes of Health. Dr. Nguyen is board certified in both Medical Oncology and Hematology by the American Board of Internal Medicine and holds an active California medical license.
