J.A. Garcia-Young

J. Alex Garcia-Young, MD, DABR, is a radiation oncologist at Sutter’s Memorial Medical Center, and is Medical Director of Clinical Research and is a member of the Executive Research Committee.
He is board certified in radiation oncology. Dr. Garcia-Young investigates stereotactic procedures of the brain, lung and liver, with a specific focus on malignancies of the brain, lung and breast. He participates in clinical trials of new radiotherapies for brain, lung and liver cancers and has authored numerous publications in these areas.
Dr. Garcia-Young completed an MD at St. George’s University (Grenada) and residency training in radiation oncology at Drexel University College of Medicine.
