Dr. Janet Wang is a board-certified hematologist and oncologist based in Santa Cruz, California, where she has been in practice with Palo Alto Medical Foundation since 2012. She specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of hematologic malignancies and solid tumors, with a strong focus on evidence-based patient care.
Dr. Wang completed her fellowship in Hematology/Oncology at Baylor College of Medicine, where she also finished her residency in Internal Medicine. She earned her Doctor of Medicine with honors from Baylor College of Medicine and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Neurobiology, magna cum laude with honors, from Harvard University.
She is licensed in California and Texas and certified in Hematology/Oncology. Dr. Wang has contributed to the field through peer-reviewed publications and presentations on topics including cardiac amyloidosis, lymphoma, and leukemia. She is also conversational in Chinese and proficient in medical Spanish, supporting her ability to care for diverse patient populations.
