Janice K Ryu, M.D.

Dr. Janice Ryu is a board-certified radiation oncologist with extensive expertise in the treatment of cancer using advanced radiation therapies. She earned her B.A. in Biochemistry from Harvard University and her M.D. from the University of California, San Francisco, followed by residency and chief residency training at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center.
Dr. Ryu has held numerous academic and leadership roles at the University of California, Davis, including Interim Chair, Clinical Director, and Residency Director in the Department of Radiation Oncology. She later served as an attending radiation oncologist at Radiological Associates of Sacramento and currently practices with Sutter Medical Group.
A Fellow of the American College of Radiology, Dr. Ryu has received multiple honors for teaching and clinical excellence. She is an active contributor to oncology research, with numerous peer-reviewed publications and involvement in national cooperative groups advancing cancer treatment.
