Dr. Cooper earned her medical degree from the School of Medicine at the University of Tel Aviin Israel, where she was raised. She completed her training in neurology at the University of California, Davis and is board certified in neurology and sleep disorders medicine.

In addition to her experience in general neurology and sleep medicine, Dr. Cooper has extensive experience treating people with multiple sclerosis (MS).

She is Medical Director of the Comprehensive Multiple Sclerosis Center at Sutter East Bay Medical Group/Medical Foundation and has led her team in comprehensive diagnoses, disease management and symptom management of MS and related disorders. Dr. Cooper has served as Principal Investigator on numerous clinical trials in MS.

She has additional specialized training and clinical research experience in the treatment of severe spasticity using techniques such as botulinum toxin injections and intrathecal baclofen infusion systems.

Dr. Cooper has received honors from the National MS Society as a champion in her field and has served in multiple leadership roles in her department and medical group. She is Medical Director of the Jordan Research and Education Institute at Sutter Health’s Alta Bates Summit Medical Center.

She serves on the boards of several community organizations and is an assistant clinical professor at the University of California, San Francisco School of Nursing and an adjunct assistant clinical professor at Touro University.
