Katherine Werbaneth, MD is a neurologist with specialized training in epilepsy and electroencephalography (EEG). Her clinical and research efforts focus on seizure disorders, status epilepticus, and the application of advanced EEG technologies to improve diagnostic accuracy and treatment outcomes in critically ill patients. Dr. Werbaneth has authored and co‑authored multiple peer‑reviewed publications examining seizure clusters, rapid and high‑density EEG utilization, non‑convulsive status epilepticus, and new‑onset refractory status epilepticus (NORSE).
