Kenneth Binmoeller

Dr. Binmoeller is an internationally recognized expert in advanced endoscopic procedures and endosonography. He is board certified in gastroenterology and internal medicine. He investigates new diagnoses and treatments for gastrointestinal (GI) disorders and upper GI tract tumors. Dr. Binmoeller founded and directs the Interventional Endoscopy Services (IES) Program at CPMC—the premier referral center in Northern California for patients requiring complex endoscopic therapy.
In collaboration with CPMC clinicians Drs. Janak Shah and Yasser Bhat, Dr. Binmoeller performs over 5,000 therapeutic procedures annually that span the entire spectrum of interventional endoscopy. Author of over 200 publications and the book, Therapeutic Endoscopy: Color Atlas of Operative Techniques, Dr. Binmoeller trains and mentors endoscopists from academic and medical centers worldwide.
