Kristie A. Bobolis

Kristie Bobolis, MD, is a board‑certified hematologist and medical oncologist with more than three decades of experience advancing breast cancer care, clinical research, and multidisciplinary oncology practice. She completed her medical degree at the University of California, Irvine, followed by an internal medicine residency at UCLA and a hematology/oncology fellowship at Duke University.

Dr. Bobolis serves with Sutter Medical Group, where she is the longtime Medical Director of the Breast Cancer Program and Founding Medical Director of both the Clinical Cancer Genetics and Lymphedema Programs at Sutter Roseville Medical Center. A nationally recognized leader, she has held prominent roles within the National Consortium of Breast Centers, including serving as President from 2017–2019.

Dr. Bobolis is a treating investigator for NCI‑sponsored clinical trials and has contributed to high‑impact research published in Cancer Discovery, Nature Genetics, JAMA, and other leading journals. She is widely regarded for her commitment to patient‑centered, evidence‑driven cancer care.

In addition, Dr. Bobolis serves as Program Director of the ACGME accredited Hematology-Oncology Fellowship Program at Sutter Roseville Medical Center. The program will welcome its inaugural fellowship class in August 2026.
