Leslie Kardos

A member of the Obstetrics and Gynecology Department at CPMC, Dr. Kardos is an expert in gynecologic surgery and advanced laparoscopy. She is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology. Dr. Kardos treats patients with gynecologic conditions including endometriosis, uterine fibroids, urinary incontinence, urinary prolapse, and excessive menstrual bleeding. She performs procedures such as hysterectomies and ovarian cystectomies. Many of these conditions are treated through the use of advanced surgical techniques including the da Vinci Surgery System, and Dr. Kardos is specially trained in this technology. Da Vinci robot-assisted gynecologic surgery is minimally invasive and allows for faster recovery, less pain and fewer scars versus conventional surgical techniques. Dr. Kardos investigates innovations in gynecologic robotic surgery, advanced laparoscopic surgery, and gynecologic ultrasound.
