Maira P Campos, M.D., MPH

Maira P Campos, MD, MPH is a board-certified hematologist-oncologist with specialized training in internal medicine, cancer care, and clinical research. She earned her Doctor of Medicine and Master of Public Health degrees from the ABC Foundation School of Medicine in São Paulo, Brazil. Dr. Campos completed her internal medicine residency at Jackson Memorial Hospital/University of Miami, followed by a hematology and oncology fellowship at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA.
Dr. Campos currently serves as a hematologist-oncologist at Ridley-Tree Cancer Center in Santa Barbara, California. Prior to this role, she practiced at St. Charles Cancer Center in Oregon, where she was a breast cancer research site lead, and held an academic appointment as a clinical instructor at UCLA.
Her clinical and research interests include breast cancer, gynecologic malignancies, and cancer-related fatigue. She has authored multiple peer-reviewed publications and presented her work at national and international conferences, including the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO).
Dr. Campos is committed to advancing cancer care through research, education, and compassionate, patient-centered treatment. She is fluent in English, Portuguese, and Spanish, allowing her to provide culturally competent care to diverse patient populations.
