Michael A Gibson

Dr. Michael A. Gibson is an Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant Cardiologist with extensive expertise in the management of complex cardiovascular disease. He serves as an Associate Professor at the University of California, Davis, where he provides advanced clinical care while contributing to medical education and multidisciplinary research. Dr. Gibson completed his medical degree at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, followed by residency and fellowships in Cardiology and Advanced Heart Failure at the University of California, San Diego. His clinical and research interests span cardiogenic shock, mechanical circulatory support, heart transplantation, and innovative heart failure therapies. He has served as a principal and co-investigator on multiple national and international heart failure trials and is an active lecturer for academic institutions and professional societies. A Fellow of the American College of Cardiology, Dr. Gibson is recognized for his commitment to advancing heart failure care through research, education, and compassionate patient management.
