Michael T. Ingram, MD is a board-certified thoracic and cardiovascular surgeon with decades of experience in cardiac and vascular care. He earned his Bachelor of Science from the University of California, Davis, and his Doctor of Medicine from the University of Southern California. He completed his surgical training at UC Davis and his cardiovascular surgery residency at the Texas Heart Institute.
Dr. Ingram currently practices with Sutter Medical Group and has been on staff at Sutter Medical Center, Sacramento since 1988. He also serves as Associate Director of the Sutter Heart and Vascular Institute.
Dr. Ingram is an active member of multiple professional organizations, including the Society of Thoracic Surgeons and the American College of Surgeons.
His career includes extensive clinical research involvement in transcatheter valve therapies and mitral valve repair, as well as numerous peer-reviewed publications in cardiothoracic surgery.
