Mimi Lin

Dr. Mimi S. Lin is a board-certified gastroenterologist and nationally recognized leader in neurogastroenterology and motility disorders. She currently serves as Department Head of GI & Motility at Sutter West Bay Medical Group and Medical Director of the Inflammatory Bowel Disease Program at California Pacific Medical Center (CPMC). A graduate of UC Berkeley and the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, she completed her internal medicine residency, chief residency, and gastroenterology fellowship at CPMC.
Dr. Lin has extensive clinical, educational, and administrative experience, directing the Center for Neurogastroenterology & Motility since 2016 and contributing to multiple institutional committees focused on quality, governance, and innovation. She is a dedicated educator, earning multiple “Teacher of the Year” awards from CPMC’s GI Fellowship and Internal Medicine Residency programs.
Her research and invited lectures span gastroparesis, motility disorders, and functional GI diseases, and she remains active in national societies, industry advisory roles, and community health education.
