Monique de Bruin

Monique A. de Bruin, MD, MPH, is a medical oncologist in Sunnyvale, CA. She is board certified in internal medicine and medical oncology, and board eligible in hematology. \
Dr. de Bruin is dedicated to improving the lives of patients at elevated risk of cancer, including those with hereditary cancer syndromes. Clinically, she works with patients to develop and implement personalized care plans for early detection, prevention and treatment of cancers.
With this clinical foundation, Dr. de Bruin investigates the genetic drivers of cancer, strategies to optimally identify patients at elevated cancer risk, and the adoption of novel diagnostic technologies in real world settings. Dr. de Bruin participates in clinical trials of new therapies for breast cancer and other cancers.
Dr. de Bruin earned her MD from UCSF School of Medicine. She completed internal medicine residency, as well as oncology and hematology fellowships at Stanford University School of Medicine. She received a Master’s in Public Health (MPH, Epidemiology) from UC Berkeley.
