Nancy Luo

Nancy Luo, MD, MHS, FACC, is an Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant Cardiologist at Sutter Medical Center in Sacramento. Since 2021, she has specialized in the care of patients with complex heart failure, mechanical circulatory support, and cardiac transplantation. Previously, she served as Medical Director of the Acute Mechanical Circulatory Program at Dignity Health and held a faculty appointment at UC Davis School of Medicine.
Dr. Luo completed her medical degree at UT Southwestern, residency at the University of Chicago, and cardiology and advanced heart failure fellowships at Duke University, where she also earned a Master of Health Science and conducted clinical research. An active clinician‑scientist, she has authored numerous peer‑reviewed publications and contributed to major clinical trials in heart failure.
She is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology and an engaged educator, speaker, and committee leader dedicated to advancing cardiovascular care and improving patient outcomes.
