Nitin Rohatgi, M.D., MBA
Nitin Rohatgi, MD, MBA is a board-certified medical oncologist specializing in breast and genitourinary (GU) cancers, with a strong focus on clinical research and innovation in digital health and artificial intelligence in medicine. He currently practices at Sutter Medical Group/Sutter Medical Center Sacramento, where he has served since 2008 and leads the Breast Cancer Program as Medical Director.
Dr. Rohatgi brings extensive clinical and administrative leadership experience, including serving as Chair of the Section of Hematology/Oncology at Sutter Medical Center Sacramento for over 15 years and leading system-wide oncology initiatives within Sutter Health. His clinical interests center on advancing evidence-based treatments and improving outcomes in breast and GU oncology.
He completed his hematology/oncology fellowship at the University of Cincinnati, where he also served as an Instructor of Clinical Medicine, following residency training in internal medicine at the University of Massachusetts. Dr. Rohatgi earned his MBBS from the All India Institute of Medical Sciences in New Delhi and an MBA with distinction from Heriot-Watt University.
An active member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology, Dr. Rohatgi has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications and presented at national meetings, contributing to advancements in oncology therapeutics and translational research.
