Niyati Skaria, M.D.

Niyati Skaria, MD is a board-certified pediatric endocrinologist currently practicing with Sutter Medical Group in Sacramento, California. She specializes in the diagnosis and management of endocrine disorders in children and adolescents, with a particular focus on diabetes and metabolic conditions.
Dr. Skaria earned her medical degree from St. George’s University and completed her pediatric residency at NYU Langone Hospital–Long Island. She went on to complete a fellowship in pediatric endocrinology at Stony Brook Children’s Hospital, where she also engaged in clinical research on continuous glucose monitoring in pediatric patients with diabetic ketoacidosis.
Prior to joining Sutter Medical Group, Dr. Skaria practiced for nearly a decade at the Center of Excellence in Diabetes and Endocrinology in Sacramento. Her academic contributions include presentations at national conferences and award-winning research recognized by the Endocrine Society.
