Priya Chakravarthi, M.D.

Priya Chakravarthi, MD is a board-certified hematologist and medical oncologist with Palo Alto Medical Foundation since 2006, where she provides comprehensive cancer care and has led numerous quality improvement initiatives, including the development of multidisciplinary breast cancer clinics, tumor boards, and implementation of electronic chemotherapy ordering systems. She has served as Department Head of Hematology and Oncology since 2010.
Dr. Chakravarthi completed her hematology/oncology fellowship and internal medicine residency at the University of Connecticut, where she also conducted clinical research, including a Phase I clinical trial in chronic myelogenous leukemia.
Her academic interests include cancer care innovation, multidisciplinary treatment approaches, and medical education, with active involvement in teaching medical students and residents and contributions to peer-reviewed publications.
