Rajat Goyal, M.D.

Rajat Goyal, MD is a board-certified clinical cardiac electrophysiologist and currently serves as Department Head of Electrophysiology at Sutter West Bay Medical Group. He previously held leadership roles at Northwell Health, including Director of the Cardiac Electrophysiology Lab at John T. Mather Memorial Hospital, and served as an attending physician and Assistant Professor at the Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell.
Dr. Goyal completed his medical degree at SUNY Upstate Medical University and trained in internal medicine at Boston University Medical Center, followed by fellowship training in cardiovascular medicine at Stony Brook University Hospital, where he served as Chief Fellow, and advanced fellowship in clinical cardiac electrophysiology at New York-Presbyterian-Weill Cornell Medical Center.
Dr. Goyal’s clinical and research interests focus on complex arrhythmia management and advanced electrophysiologic procedures, with multiple peer-reviewed publications in leading cardiology journals.
