Richard H. Hongo, MD, FHRS, FACC is a board-certified cardiologist and cardiac electrophysiologist with extensive expertise in the diagnosis and management of complex cardiac arrhythmias. He completed his medical degree at Loma Linda University, followed by internal medicine training in Portland, Oregon, and cardiology and electrophysiology fellowships at California Pacific Medical Center and the University of California, San Francisco.
Dr. Hongo serves as a physician with Sutter West Bay Medical Group and holds leadership roles at California Pacific Medical Center, including Director of the Cardiovascular Fellowship Program and Assistant Director of the Electrophysiology Laboratory.
A Fellow of both the American College of Cardiology and the Heart Rhythm Society, he has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications and textbook chapters focused on cardiac electrophysiology and arrhythmia management.
