Ronald Hsu
Ronald K. Hsu, MD, FACG, AGAF, FASGE, FACP, FRCP(Lon/Edin), FHKCP, FHKAM is a Clinical Professor of Medicine at the University of California, Davis, and a distinguished gastroenterologist specializing in hepatology and advanced therapeutic endoscopy. A leader in his field, he served as Governor for Northern California for the American College of Gastroenterology and as International Regional Advisor (USA–West) for the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh.
Dr. Hsu has pioneered regional services in endoscopic eradication therapy for Barrett’s esophagus, including early adoption of photodynamic therapy and radiofrequency ablation. Over his career, he has delivered more than 250 invited lectures worldwide, directed numerous education programs, and contributed extensively to clinical research with more than 35 funded studies and multiple peer‑reviewed publications.
Widely recognized for excellence in patient care, teaching, and innovation, Dr. Hsu continues to advance gastrointestinal health through clinical leadership, mentorship, and community education.
