Syed Latif, MD, FACC is a board-certified cardiologist specializing in cardiovascular disease and advanced non-invasive cardiac imaging, including CT and MRI. He completed his medical degree at The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University, followed by internal medicine training at Brown University and fellowship training in cardiovascular disease at UC Davis. He further advanced his expertise through a dedicated fellowship in cardiac imaging at Yale New Haven Health System.
Dr. Latif currently serves on the medical staff at Sutter Medical Center Sacramento and is Medical Director of Advanced Cardiovascular Imaging. He also holds an academic appointment as Assistant Clinical Professor of Cardiology and Internal Medicine at California Northstate College of Medicine.
His clinical and research interests focus on cardiovascular imaging and improving outcomes in heart disease, with multiple peer-reviewed publications and active involvement in clinical trials.
