Travis J. Urban, MD is an Associate Medical Director at the Ray Dolby Brain Health Center in San Francisco, where he specializes in behavioral neurology and cognitive disorders. He completed his neurology residency, internal medicine internship, and behavioral neurology fellowship at Stanford Medicine, following his MD from the University of Texas Medical Branch and a BS in Bioengineering from Stanford University.
Dr. Urban’s clinical and research work focuses on Alzheimer’s disease and related neurodegenerative conditions. He has extensive experience as a site sub-investigator on multiple clinical trials evaluating emerging therapeutics and diagnostics for early-stage Alzheimer’s disease and cerebral amyloid angiopathy. His research background includes work at the Stanford Department of Neurology and the Gladstone Institutes, with a focus on neurodegeneration and neuronal stress responses.
