Yasser Bhat

Dr. Bhat investigates new diagnoses and treatments for gastrointestinal (GI) disorders. He is board certified in gastroenterology and internal medicine.

His specific research interests are interventional endoscopy, pancreaticobiliary endoscopy, endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreaticography, endoscopic ultrasound, Barrett’s esophagus, endoscopic treatment of early gastrointestinal cancers, and endoscopic mucosal resection.

In collaboration with CPMC clinicians Drs. Janak Shah and Kenneth Binmoeller, Dr. Bhat performs advanced endoscopic procedures at the Interventional Endoscopy Services (IES) Program at CPMC—the premier referral center in Northern California for patients requiring complex endoscopic therapy.
