Abstract

Roundtable discussion: Fracture of the fifth metatarsal is one of the most common injuries presenting to a foot and ankle specialist. Yet there is little consensus as to the optimal treatment. Philosophies range from benign neglect to operative intervention. This symposium explores the spectrum of fifth metatarsal fractures.
