Learning you have diabetes can feel overwhelming, but our dedicated care teams are here to help. We'll partner with you to create personalized treatment plans to manage and control it.

Why Choose Sutter?
We help people with diabetes live healthy lives. Our diabetes team, made up of leaders from Northern California, shares best practices and research to bring you the best care. Education and support are key to preventing and managing prediabetes and Type 2 diabetes. That’s why we offer classes, support groups, nutrition therapy, insulin pump programs and weight management programs.
Diabetes is a lifelong condition, but it's manageable. Our goal is to support you every step of the way so you can avoid complications and enjoy good health. Our Diabetes Self-Management Education and Support (DSMES) program, accredited by the American Association of Diabetes Educators, offers training from certified diabetes educators. This program will help you understand diabetes, learn how it affects your body and build the skills you need to develop and follow a personal management plan.
