Some conditions need regular monitoring to check how well your treatment works or to guide your doctor on future care. Even if you feel fine, your doctor might order tests to set a baseline for comparison later.

Our labs are fully licensed by California’s Department of Health Services and certified under the Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendment (CLIA), ensuring top-quality care.

We know that blood draws can feel overwhelming — for your little one and for you. Our Early Childhood Specialty Labs are designed with the youngest patients in mind: newborns, infants, and toddlers who need lab work.

At select Sutter locations, we've created dedicated spaces built specifically for children, staffed by lab professionals who specialize in pediatric blood draws. Our team receives advanced training developed in partnership with Child Life specialists.

Early Childhood Specialty Labs are available at 13 lab locations and are also offered at our 6 Pediatric Urgent Care locations for children being seen for urgent care visits.
