If you suffer from a sleep disorder, you’re not alone. According to the National Sleep Foundation, between 50 and 70 million Americans experience some sort of sleep or wakefulness disorder. As the Sacramento region's oldest and largest sleep medicine program, Sutter Sleep Disorders Centers has helped thousands of children and adults discover the causes and solutions to sleep-related problems.
Accredited through the Accreditation Commission for Health Care, our sleep centers in Sacramento, Roseville and Jackson are equipped with the latest sleep testing equipment to diagnose and treat the full range of sleep disorders, including sleep apnea, snoring, insomnia, restless leg syndrome and narcolepsy. Infants with out-of-the-ordinary sleep problems, including apparent life-threatening events, also receive sleep testing and treatment in conjunction with Sutter Children's Center, Sacramento.
Sleep specialists offer overnight sleep lab testing and in-home sleep testing using advanced diagnostic tools that fit your needs.
These can include:
- Maintenance of wakefulness testing
- Multiple sleep latency testing
- Nocturnal oximetry monitoring
- Pediatric sleep testing
Your care team includes board-certified pediatric and adult sleep medicine doctors, registered polysomnographic technologists and respiratory care practitioners. Once a diagnosis is complete, our sleep medicine specialists design a treatment plan exclusively tailored to your needs. Treatment may range from behavior changes and sleep counseling to medication or sleep-aid devices.
