Urogynecology and pelvic floor care

Pelvic floor issues are common and you deserve answers. We treat incontinence, prolapse, overactive bladder and other pelvic floor disorders, and help you get back to the life you want.

Why choose Sutter?

Leaking when you laugh. The urgency that runs your day. When you're dealing with pelvic floor dysfunction, you want a team that sees this every day. Our Urogynecology and Reconstructive Surgery (URPS) team includes board-certified, fellowship-trained surgeons who specialize in minimally invasive approaches, from robotic prolapse repair to complex pelvic reconstruction. We've also been named a Top 100 Women's Health Program by Becker's Hospital Review — recognition that reflects the depth and expertise of this team.

You'll be cared for by urogynecologists, physician assistants, nurse practitioners and pelvic floor physical therapists working side by side. And when your care needs extend beyond pelvic floor, we bring in specialists from across Sutter, including gynecology, gastroenterology and urology. Your urogynecologist leads that coordination, so you're not navigating it on your own.

Whether it's a heaviness that won't go away or prolapse that's come back after a previous repair, your first visit is a conversation, at your pace. We know these issues can be hard to talk about. We'll work through options together, from nonsurgical to surgical, and find the right plan for you.
