Walk-In Care

Everyone aged 18 months and older is welcome to Walk-In Care, no matter where you receive your ongoing medical care. You don’t have to be a Sutter patient or have a primary care doctor to visit a Sutter Walk-In Care clinic. Check with your health plan to see if it covers Walk-In Care.

No insurance is necessary. To verify your health insurance coverage, you can contact us at 800-972-5547.

You’ll always know what you’ll pay with no added charges for medical office tests. You don’t need insurance to visit Walk-In Care. If you’re paying out of pocket, the estimated costs are:

• Standard visit: Approximately $192*
• Screenings: $99
• Vaccines: Approximately $50–$288

We accept most health plans, so your price may be less. We can bill your health insurance if it’s one of our accepted health plans. Contact us at 800-972-5547 to verify your health insurance coverage.

Flu and COVID-19 vaccinations are by appointment only. Otherwise, no appointment is needed, we recommend scheduling your visit in advance to save time.

Check your local clinic for any schedule changes. Our typical Walk-In Care clinic hours are:

• Regular hours: open daily 11:00 am–7:00 pm
• Holiday Hours: 11:00 am–6:00 pm
• Holidays Observed: Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve
• Closed: New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas Day

You should call your doctor, go to the nearest emergency department or call 911. If you arrive at a Walk-In Care clinic and need more urgent care, we’ll direct you to the appropriate care site.

If you need ongoing care, we’ll refer you to your primary care doctor or help you find one if you don't have one. We'll give you an After Visit Summary of your visit and notify your doctor unless you prefer otherwise. We can perform certain follow-up care on-site, so we’ll let you know if this is an option for you.
