Community Health Needs Assessment
Sutter Health has a long tradition of working to improve the health of the communities we serve through our community benefit activities and programs. These efforts are based on needs identified through a community health needs assessment, conducted once every three years, in collaboration with other healthcare providers, public health departments and a variety of community organizations.

Community Benefit Annual Report
Sutter Health fulfills its non-for-profit mission inside and outside the walls of our care facilities through community health investments that meet the most pressing needs of the areas we serve, as identified in tri-annual Community Health Needs Assessments. Through collaborative partnerships with nonprofit organizations and community partners, government and Federally Qualified Health Centers, we partner to deliver innovative solutions that help improve the health of our communities, families, and patients. Our community benefit report for 2020 highlights Sutter’s collaborative strategies to address the COVID-19 pandemic and priority health needs in the Bay and Valley regions.
