Description
This project will characterize the cost components within ambulatory care episodes—physician-specific services, labs, imaging, drugs. It uses a ‘stakeholder’ approach, identifying the players who should ‘be at the table’ in a discussion about how to share the payments for a particular type of episode. It will also characterize when different types of players are almost always engaged in an episode and when certain players are only occasionally involved.
