Benjamin Romick, MD, FACC, CCDS, is an interventional cardiologist at Sutter’s California Pacific Medical Center (CPMC). He is board certified in cardiology, interventional cardiology and cardiac rhythm device management.
Dr. Romick investigates new devices and medications to treat cardiovascular diseases including atrial fibrillation and arrhythmias, arterial and venous system disorders, hypertension, heart disease, cardiomyopathies, and hypercholesterolemia.
He participates in clinical trials in these areas and has authored numerous publications on revascularization in patients undergoing percutaneous coronary interventions, the use of lipid-lowering medications prior to percutaneous coronary interventions, and testing methods for anticoagulation.
Dr. Romick obtained an MD from the University of Iowa College of Medicine in Iowa City, IA. He completed residency training in internal medicine at Keesler USAF Medical Center and fellowships in cardiovascular diseases and interventional cardiology at Brook Army Medical Center and Montefiore Medical Center/Albert Einstein College Medicine (respectively).
