Nursing Units - CPMC Mission Bernal Campus

Volunteers must be mature, responsible, and possess strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with patients and staff. They assist in maintaining clean and organized waiting areas, restocking supplies, making lab deliveries, answering phone calls, and fulfilling other non-clinical tasks as needed to support the team. Volunteers should be comfortable engaging with individuals of all ages and backgrounds, demonstrating sensitivity to language and cultural differences to ensure a positive and inclusive experience for all.

• Ages 16 and older (some departments are only 18+)
• Committed to serve a minimum of 100 hours in one year, at least three to four hours per week.
• Complete online application and personal interview.
• Complete and pass a background check (adults only).
• Complete and pass a health screening.
• Junior Volunteers — have signed parental consent form.
