Role Description

Volunteers serve as a vital link between staff and patients, relaying patient concerns to staff while keeping patients informed. They help maintain a clean and organized environment in waiting areas and dressing rooms, ensuring these spaces are stocked with gowns and linens. Additionally, volunteers assist with various non-clinical tasks as needed, providing valuable support to both patients and staff.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Ages 16 and older (some departments are only 18+).
  • Commitment to serve a minimum of 100 hours in one year, at least three to four hours per week.
  • Complete online application and in-person interview.
  • Complete and pass a background check (adults only).
  • Complete and pass a health screening.
  • Junior Volunteers — have signed parental consent form.
