With many areas to choose from, you can find a volunteer opportunity that fits your skills and interests. Here are some of the types of opportunities available at Memorial Medical Center:

  • Crafts
  • Family Birthing Center
  • GifTree
  • Patient Services
  • ICU
  • Emergency Room

Requirements and Qualifications

Membership in the Memorial Medical Center volunteer program is open to men and women ages 23 and older.

If selected, applicants must come in for a personal interview, pass a background check, adhere to health requirements, attend a new member orientation session, purchase a uniform and pay yearly dues.

Volunteering Shifts

Volunteers are expected to keep a regular schedule of at least one shift per week. Most shifts are four hours long, and nearly all shifts are during regular business hours. Your shift will be "fixed" (same placement, same time, same day each week). You must commit to a minimum of 100 hours of service each year.
