Volunteer at Sutter Delta Medical Center

Since 1964, the nearly 100 men and women of the Auxiliary have given thousands of hours of their time each year. Members perform crucial functions around the hospital, from assisting patients and visitors at the information desk and performing various clerical tasks, to holding fundraisers to purchase needed equipment for the hospital. Auxiliary membership is open to anyone in the community who would like to volunteer their time.

• Be at least 18 years or older.
• Fully vaccinated for COVID-19 including one (1) booster.
• Volunteers agree to serve as a volunteer for a minimum period of 4 hours per week for 100 hours from the date service is started.
• Complete online application and personal/telephone interview.
• Complete and clear a background check.
• Complete and clear a health screening (including drug screen).
• Attend mandatory orientation.
• Have a passion to be a part of a team that makes a positive contribution to our community by fostering an environment that helps our patients heal and bring comfort to their families.
