Financial Assistance and Billing

Financial Assistance for Uninsured Patients

The surgery center offers Financial Assistance in the form of free care to eligible low-income uninsured patients. This includes Full Charity Care, which fully waives charges for patients with family incomes at or below 200% of the federal poverty level and no payment sources, and Partial Charity Care for those with incomes between 201% and 400% of the federal poverty level. Additionally, Special Circumstances Charity Care may be granted to uninsured patients facing unique hardships, such as bankruptcy or homelessness. To qualify, patients must complete an application and provide necessary documentation regarding their financial situation.

Insurance and Billing

The center will verify your benefits and notify you of your financial responsibility before your procedure, which may include separate bills for anesthesia, pathology, laboratory, and surgeon fees. Payment is due on the day of the procedure, with options for cash, check, or credit card. If you're facing challenges with your bill, please inform us beforehand so we can find a solution. Additionally, we offer financial assistance for low-income uninsured patients, who may qualify for full or partial charity care after applying and undergoing review.
