About our Program
Sutter Roseville Medical Center (SRMC)—a leading community-based teaching hospital in Northern California, where innovation, collaboration, and patient-centered care are at the heart of everything we do. As a 418-bed acute care hospital and Level II trauma center, SRMC serves a diverse patient population across 10 counties in the greater Sacramento region.

Our pharmacy residency program is comprised of two PGY1 Acute Care positions and one PGY2 Emergency Medicine position, offering residents the opportunity to train in high-acuity, interdisciplinary settings. Residents are fully integrated into the healthcare team and gain hands-on experience in a wide range of clinical services, with strong preceptor support and opportunities for research, teaching, and leadership.
SRMC Pharmacy Residents benefit from interprofessional collaboration with a wide range of learners and providers, exposure to complex and diverse clinical cases, and the opportunity to contribute meaningfully to patient care and quality improvement initiatives. SRMC offers a supportive environment where pharmacy residents are valued as integral members of the healthcare team.
If you're looking for a residency that blends high-acuity clinical training with a strong sense of community and mentorship, SRMC is the place to grow.
