The clinical and didactic education corresponds with the requirements set forth by the American Board of Physical Therapy Residency and Fellowship Education (ABPTRFE) and Accreditation Council on Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapy Education (ACOMPTE). This fellowship program uses a broad -based, eclectic curriculum that aims to provide graduates with the ability to apply advanced orthopaedic manual therapy techniques combined with advanced skills in movement analysis, motor control and biomechanics to the injured population. In addition, the program provides training on teaching so as to develop clinicians with the ability to train at a post-professional residency and fellowship level.

  1. Salaried Sutter Health employee
  2. Application through RF-PTCAS
  3. Fellow-in-Training will be recognized as a Fellow from American Academy of Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapists (AAOMPT)
  4. Faculty are made up of certified orthopedic specialists, orthopedic residency trained therapists, and FAAOMPTs.
  5. Interdisciplinary learning with other education programs and professionals
