CPMC Medical Student Clerkships

California Pacific Medical Center offers clinical clerkships at our four campus locations to medical students enrolled in United States medical schools or schools accredited by the LCME (Liaison Committee for Medical Education).

About the Program

CPMC has forged a partnership with the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth to bring their students to San Francisco for third and fourth year clerkships in the following disciplines: Internal Medicine, Psychiatry, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Family Medicine, Pediatrics and Neurology. Dartmouth provides lodging for their students in San Francisco.

CPMC also maintains an affiliation with the University of California San Francisco School of Medicine and third year students are offered core clerkships in Obstetrics and Gynecology as well as General Surgery.

Senior Clerkships are available to fourth-year medical students in many specialties.

California Pacific does not provide lodging, stipends, liability insurance or uniforms for students on clerkships. We do provide beepers.
