First and foremost, I believe in the human capacity for positive change. Given encouragement and knowledge, all patients have the capability to improve, if not resolve, their medical conditions with minimal amount of medications. Although medication can be beneficial in some circumstances (infections, trauma, for example), I prefer not to prescribe any medicine due to potential side effects. All medications have potential side effects, no matter if they are prescribed or over the counter. My role as a physician is not to give my patients a pill for every problem that they have. Instead, my role is to help my patients meet their goal for a healthier lifestyle by making sure they understand their medical conditions, encouraging better diet, promoting physical activities, and connecting patients to appropriate specialists and community resources. I look forward to providing you the resources you need to meet your healthcare needs and help you reach your optimal well-being.

Outside of Medicine, Dr. Chang's interests include exercising, traveling and volunteering.
