Dr. Cheng is the lead geriatrician in the PAMF Palo Alto Center. He sees patients as a medical sub-specialty consultant in the Palo Alto Center, as well as in selected nursing facility and retirement community settings.

Dr. Cheng is a lifelong violinist with extensive orchestral and chamber music performance experience. He previously served as a conductor for the Harvard University Toscanini Chamber Orchestra. He relishes time together with his wife and two daughters.
Philosophy of Care
It is an incredible honor to collaboratively care for aging patients with my PAMF colleagues. Our patients and their families inspire us daily---with their wisdom, humor, grace, and incredible courage.
The challenge and reward in caring for aging patients go beyond the sum of their medical diagnoses and pills. Our program aspires to help patients reconsider concepts of prevention and screening as they age. We also aim to work collaboratively with them to design AND FULFILL their goals of care.
We are interested in discovering and promoting new ways to care for older people. Our vision is to provide top notch care and promote successful aging to PAMF patients, from age 65 to perhaps 100 and beyond!
