Zara M Khan, M.D.

I am a Bay Area native, having grown up in the Peninsula, attending UC Berkeley, and completing residency as well as an additional year as a Chief Resident in Oakland at UCSF Benioff Children's Hospital Oakland. I love our East Bay Area community and I am so excited to be given the opportunity to care for your children.

I chose the field of medicine because health is the most fundamental and universal foundation of our ability to thrive. I chose pediatrics because of the joy children bring to those around them and because I love working with families. It is important to me to be a good listener. It is also important to me to help educate and counsel patients and families to equip them with the knowledge and tools they need to prevent illnesses and manage health concerns together.

I want to be your partner and coach in keeping your children and our community healthy and happy. It is a great privilege for me to be a part of your family's journey.
