Our emergency teams provide nationally recognized critical care in your neighborhood. Located in San Francisco, we’re available 24/7 to treat all types of medical emergencies. Our CPMC Emergency, Van Ness Campus staff is specially trained in advanced life support and critical care. In addition to 24-hour emergency care for kids and adults, our campus also offers exceptional specialty care.
We have a dedicated pediatric ER has child-sized equipment and is staffed with doctors who are board-certified in both pediatrics and emergency medicine.

Public Transportation
CPMC provides complimentary transportation to and from the Van Ness Campus (1101 Van Ness Avenue) for patients and families staying at Hotel Kabuki and Holiday Inn Golden Gateway. This service is available Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM - 7:00 PM, excluding holidays. From the Van Ness Campus, you can transfer to shuttles that can take you to other hospital campuses. To schedule pickup, please call 415-600-4700.

- Van Ness Campus to Davies Campus (with stops at Mission Bernal Campus at designated times)
