Philosophy of Care

Dr. Andrew Stein/ East Bay Hand Medical Center is a fully-integrated hand center, with hand therapy, a surgery center, and offices designed specifically for care of upper extremity problems. We treat a variety of upper extremity conditions, including arthritis, trauma/fractures, infection, nerve compressions such as capal and cubital tunnel syndrome, tendonitis, joint instabilities, and hundreds of others with up to date techniques. Dr. Stein was named a top Hand Surgeon by U.S. News & World Reports Top Doctors and an acclaimed Castle Connolly top doctor. Our mission is to treat each patient as an individual, with honesty and respect, and to provide the highest quality care, whether it's office-based or surgical. Our highly trained staff is available to answer any questions you may have.
