Chad M. Guenther, M.D.

Medical Oncologist and Hematologist Chad Guenther, MD completed his Hematology-Oncology fellowship at the University of Wisconsin Hospitals and Clinics, and his Internal Medicine residency at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. He received his medical degree from the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine & Public Health. Prior to his fellowship, Dr. Guenther spent a year as an assistant professor at UT Southwestern’s William P. Clements Jr. University Hospital in Dallas, specializing in the admissions and care of cancer, liver transplant, inflammatory bowel disease and COVID-19 patients.

Dr. Guenther treats all types of cancer. He has been published in research journals on prostate and pancreatic cancer, and palliative care.

He is an active member of the American Medical Association, the American College of Physicians, the American Society of Clinical Oncology and the American Society of Hematology.

In his spare time, he enjoys playing the piano, guitar and accordion, as well as cooking and developing healthy recipes.
