About me

Philosophy of care

I am an Oakland native who has now lived in almost all corners of the US during my medical career journey, and it is with distinct pleasure. I am able to return and help serve the diverse East Bay community I grew up in. A career in Endocrinology not only fits my outgoing personality and interests, but due to the chronicity of many endocrinological diseases, it allows me to build long-term relationships with my patients. I believe excellent care starts with building a partnership with my patients by providing care with a focus on the most current, evidence-based medicine. I place great importance on patient education with the goal of empowering patients to become an active participant in their healthcare.

Personal interests

Outside of Medicine, I enjoy spending quality time with my family and friends, exploring new restaurants and foods, traveling, hiking, and swimming.
