Deborah Quinn-Chen, M.D.

Dr. Quinn-Chen is an Obstetrician-Gynecologist dedicated to providing compassionate, nonjudgmental, and personalized care to women on the Peninsula. She believes in empowering women with the knowledge they need to make informed healthcare decisions. By meeting women where they are in their health journey, Dr. Quinn-Chen helps them move forward with confidence, educating them about their bodies and supporting them in making thoughtful, informed choices.

Working from a place of deep compassion and extensive expertise, Dr. Quinn-Chen guides patients through the many transitions women experience throughout life, from adolescence and the childbearing years to menopause. She is passionate about helping women make healthcare decisions that align with their individual needs, goals, and values.

Dr. Quinn-Chen enjoys building lasting relationships with her patients during pregnancy and helping them prepare for the rewarding journey of parenthood. She also has a special interest in treating heavy menstrual bleeding (menorrhagia) using the latest techniques that may help patients avoid hysterectomy. For women who do require surgery, she is experienced in advanced minimally invasive procedures that support faster recovery and improved quality of life. Individualized menopause management, with or without hormone therapy, is another area of focus in her practice.

Dr. Quinn-Chen grew up in the East Bay and completed her undergraduate studies at the University of California, Berkeley. She earned her M.D. and completed her residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Southern California. She has practiced on the Peninsula for more than a decade and lives there with her husband and three children. In her free time, she enjoys sewing costumes for her daughter's theater productions, cooking, exercising, and traveling.
